Born in 1896 Dan Patch proved he was a grand winner at the Minnesota Fairground track in 1906, he set a legendary time of 1:56 in front of a crowd of 93,000 people. In 1916 Dan Patch passed away. but to this day, the name Dan Patch is discussed at many Standardbred meets.
