Champion show jumper by Kathleen Moody. In 1987 his first year of the competition with Greg Best riding, Moetet Chandon Gem Twist took the American Grandprix Association(AGA) horse of the year and AGA champion honors. Later that year Gem and Best contributed to the USET Pan American Games silver medal victory. In 1988 Best rode Gem Twist to individual and team silver medals in the Seoul Olimpic 1983 games. Gem took AGA horse of the year again in 1989 and 92. Gem's near perfect performance at the 1990 World Equestrian Games in Stockholm earned him the Best Horse Title. This world champion, Bred by Frank Chapot, lives in New Jersey and is owned by Michael Golden.
